Straight answers

How we make money — and how we don’t.

Viorly is free, and people reasonably ask how that works. The short version: pros pay a small fee when you hire them. We never sell your data. Here’s the rest.

Reading your report

Is my report any good?

Beyond pulling out the issues and your next steps, every analysis gives the report itself a letter grade, A+ to F. It tells you how thorough and useful the inspection document is — whether it covered the major systems and where it fell short. It is not a grade of how good or bad the home is, and it’s not a judgment of the inspector personally; it grades the deliverable you paid for.

That’s the part most people can’t judge on their own — you don’t know what a thorough inspection is supposed to look like until you’ve seen a hundred of them. The grade gives you that benchmark.

The business model

How we make money

There’s no catch. Viorly is free for buyers, sellers, homeowners, and agents — no subscription, no upgrade tier, no card required.

We make money one way: when you choose to hire a pro through our pro-matching (powered by Thumbtack), that pro pays a small lead fee — the same fee they’d already be paying on a marketplace like Thumbtack or Angi. We don’t mark it up. Viorly is software, so it’s inexpensive to run, and those referral fees are enough to keep the whole product free for you.

Your data

Privacy & your information

No — never. We don’t sell data that identifies you, and we never share it with advertisers. Your inspection report and any documents you upload stay private to your account. You can read the specifics in our Privacy Policy.
